NEW Readables Instore!

The brain child of Yok, Ian Mutch and Greg Lewis. King brown represents the thriving movement of street art; grafitti, syencils, postering, painting and murals, aswell as art in the public arena. Kingbrown doesn't just stop at the magazine its a three part project consisting of there website and exhibitions aswell. the mag is well packaged and comes with a few extra goodies, a nice peice to add to your coffee table. Piss down my back and tell me it's raining! what more do you need to know. Ok ok the book is by linus bill,It's there first edition it's photography based just your everyday shananigins. this book will definetly put a cheeky grin a your face.
Blanco artworks by Lolo, this is very cool litlle book the cover art alone is enuff to make you buy it.Talent displayed in full detail. Showcase of the variety of registers that Lolo, world wide acclaimed young Argentinina artist, develops in the streets, walls and parks of Barcelona. Lolo's book is a not to miss.
Last but most certainly not least is MADE its an independently produced art book. Published biannually out of Vancouver, Canada, MADE brings together collaborators with diverse backgrounds in design, fashion, music, and art, to exchange thoughts, sounds, and images. By documenting the activities of a few people from different creative fields through a rather brief moment in time, MADE functions between a living room conversation and a curated group exhibition. In this sense, the book also serves as a traditional limited edition monograph. MADE is our very own homemade version of pop culture, with no interest in being an underground ‘zine, or a mass marketed magazine.
this issue boasts a large group of contributors by the likes of Aaron bondaroff,Boogie,,dave chino, Eddie cruz, Eric adorn, futura, ghost,Marc jacobs, Neckface, Rick owens,Upso i could list them all "but it's over,it's over,it's over
123 im sorry.
But your into this right?"

Crooklyn dodgers x Clockers

One of my favorite songs in one of my favorite movies.... Pure dopeness!

Helvetica

Helvetica is a feature-length independent film about typography, graphic design and global visual culture. It looks at the proliferation of one typeface (which will celebrate its 50th birthday in 2007) as part of a larger conversation about the way type affects our lives. Why make a film about a typeface, let alone a feature documentary film about Helvetica? Because it's all around us. You've probably already seen Helvetica several times today. It might have told you which subway platform you needed, or tried to sell you investment services or vacation getaways in the ads in your morning paper. Maybe it gave you the latest headlines on television, or let you know whether to 'push' or 'pull' to open your office door. This post goes out to my homies Hammer & Tong much respect, love is love!
